It is a great neighborhood place which is always busy. We have only had the ice cream, which is fine but not amazing. They always seem understaffed.

Ok this place was packed on a Saturday and driving home I had to stop and see what the hype was all about. We had eaten dinner and decided to go for ice cream! I had the fudge brownie ice cream which was Ah..mazing and my boyfriend created his own ice cream combo and my son had a rainbow ice cream! We were all satisfied. They also have food which plenty of people ordered gyros so I have to go back to grab some other items! Definitely friendly and great food!

Quarry your food is amazing smash burgers, lamb euros chocolate malts and any shakes you can think of. Staff are friendly and able to give you recommendations on what to try. It's a slow pace eatery so you can eat there or take it to go laid-back.

Sandston Bistro and Shakes was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Them atmosphere was welcoming. The price was good, for 4 meals and 4 ice creams it came out to $49.

I enjoyed the food here very much. I tried the club sandwich with only turkey and the grilled cheese with turkey and both were very tasteful. The price was very reasonable as well. I also enjoyed the coconut ice cream. The service was very quick I did not stand in line long. The ambiance was a small family friendly place. I was so fond of the place I've gone back a second time already

Found this place on Yelp after leaving the highlands games at Dorey Park. I didn't even read the menu first, we just went. How could you go wrong with burgers & shakes. There's not much to the ambiance but it seemed ok.... It reminded me of our much loved Dumars in Norfolk (minus the drive up ordering) ... plenty of seating. It fairly busy just a few min after arriving. There was so much on the menu to choose from. I settled on a lamb gyro and my friend had a grilled cheese & fries. Everything tasted great. The pita for my gyro was fresh and soft and slightly warm. It was stuffed with just the right amt & delicious Tzatziki sauce. My friend's grilled cheese was perfectly toasted & the fries were oh so yummy. There were two full cases of ice cream flavors to choose from. I really wanted a shake but was so full after my gyro... next time!

Came in from a long drive up from Advance NC and was in need for a good, filling meal. It was recommended by our Boondockers Welcome host to check out Sandston Bistro, so off we went! It's a tiny little shop, seems to be family-owned. They've got a wide range of items on the menu and the prices are fair. I ordered the Giant Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and a side of cheese sauce. The burger wasn't anything fancy, but that's the good thing about it. It was just a solidly good ol' burger. 10/10! And the touch of cheese on the side for my fries - again, nothing out of the ordinary but was just an overall good cheese fries side. My wife ordered the Greek salad, which was a bit on the smaller side for the price, but it was good. I had more than enough fries to split with her. My oldest ordered wings and fries. The wings were ordered plain and he didn't mind. The chicken was moist and flavorful. I should know because I took a bite. It didn't need to be hidden behind any sauces or dips. Another not-fancy-just-plain-good example. I'll be honest, the food was so good and I was so hungry, I completely forgot to take photos! I highly recommend if your rolling through Sandston VA!

Sandwich is made fresh when you order. So a bit of a wait once you place your order. The place is packed so you know it is good. Today spouse is having the roast beef sandwich and I'm having my usual BLT. They were both good.
